This day was formed by the United Nations. It is supported by the UN's UNESCO. "Their aim is to draw attention to the meaning of literacy to persons, society and civilization." They do be familiar with and have a good time that billions of populace is educated. But they go further to endorse literacy. This day is celebrated every year on 8th of September as international literacy day even you can be a part of this celebration by wearing a custom silicone bracelet with a message on it as international literacy day and distribute among all your friends and relatives.

I love to hear about things like this. I like the idea that Rubber Bracelets are being used more and more to raise awareness!
