National Handwriting day was established by the Writing Instrument Manufacturers Association in 1977. They did this because they wanted to promote the consumption of pens, pencils and writing paper. This day is celebrated to reintroduce yourself agian to pen, pencil and a piece of paper. In this day of computers, more information are sent back and forth via keyboard and cyberspace. Remember this day by wearing a wristband on your wrist.
