January 3rd is celebrated as Fruitcake Toss day. This day was started as a fun day to get rid of all these stored up fruit cakes after christmas when no one's dares to touch them. On this day you can throw away the old fruitcake. You can toss out the old fruitcake. Try to gather some of your friends who would have received a fruitcake for holidays. Go out to a field and see how farthest you can toss the fruitcake. Do not toss the cake on anybody's face, that could injure someone. Celebrate this day also by distributing wristbands to your friends as they will remember this day.
