3rd December is considered as the united nations international day of disabled persons since 1992. The 2008 theme is " convention on the Rights of persons with Disabilities: Dignity and justice for all of us". Each year it has different theme, 2007 theme was "Decent work for persons and disabilities". 2006 theme was to provide access to information and communication technologies. More than half a billion people are disabled as a result of mental, physical or sensory impairment and whenever they live, their lives are often limited by physical or social barriers.

Wearing a silicone wristband will help us in remembering this day. we will know all the hardships that they face and come up in life.
