
December 10th is
International Human Rights Day. Definition of Human rights is "those basic standards without which people cannot live in dignity. Human rights include civil, political rights, economic, social and cultural rights. On December 10,1948, the United Nations (UN) General Assembly adopted and proclaimed the Universal Declaration of Human rights. On this day, many events aim to educate people, especailly children and teenagers, on their human rights and the importance of upholding these in their own communities and further afield. Wearing a
wristband on this day, will help people know what are their human rights.
