In northern hemisphere, this day is regarded as the first day of the winter season. This is that day of the year when sun is farthest south. This day is known as the winter solstice. The day with the least amount of daylight occurs around December 21. The official time of the Winter Solstice is 6:04 am CST. It is such a wonderful feeling to play with snow.
