The city of Ottawa is using wristband as a medium to shorten lineups. They are distributing it to people who are waiting for getting vaccinated for H1NI vaccine. There is a huge crowd of people getting gather at the clinics before it opens all across the city.

The Walter Baker Centre in Nepean lead the way to make use of wristbands borrowed from the swimming pool there; where they're generally utilized to lend a hand out to lifeguards differentiate physically powerful swimmers from weaker ones.
"It's giving the people who line up early an opportunity to leave and go do something else and come back when the clinic opens," Campbell said.
