You will see that many Americans nowadays are supporting a cause or charity. Since silicone wristbands are very cheap and are available easily they can be purchased by many people. Color wristbands come with different meanings. Yellow wristbands support cancer awareness, while pink denotes breast cancer. Many people from teenagers, adults, schoolteachers, executives, or five year old kids have started supporting this cause.
Pink wristbands are used to support breast cancer. The pink band has words ‘support, knowledge and strength’ written on it, which reflects what the charity is about. Many other statements that are written on pink bands are awareness matters; hope, faith, love; live long; strength; think pink etc.
There is a pink movement going on now, and breast cancer is receiving public interest more than it has in the past. Famous personalities have suffered from this illness so they have come forward to support this cause. Every year thousands of women are facing breast cancer problems. For some, it is a frequent battle but for others it might be the first experience for this type of illness. People might be watching there mother, sister or daughter fighting their own battle. For some women’s it might be a short battle with few physical effects while others after a lengthy battle may lose in the end or may face poor health from treatments.
