Debossing is the process used to mold your phrase into your custom silicone bracelets. The letters of your slogan are molded into the silicone of the band and it is not merely printed on the surface. Here an image such as an emblem, a title, or any other design is heat-pressed deep into the surface of the paper by a die, creating depressions.
Embossed images are generally created by stretching and reshaping the paper fibers with great pressure usually with heat. This is next accomplished by pressing the paper between a female die and its molded male matching part on an embossing press. It impresses a raised design onto a material and then applies ink or foil to that raised area. The two basic embossing techniques used are blind and foil. Blind embossing do not apply any colors. Whereas in foil embossing the material is heated and then embosses the image over heat-resistant ink.
