Asthma originates from an ancient Greek word meaning panting. Asthma is an inability to breathe properly. Asthma is a chronic medical condition. Asthma happens due to environmental tobacco smoke, poor air quality, from traffic pollution or high ozone levels. Common symptoms of asthma include Wheezing, shortness of breath, Chest tightness, pain or pressure. According to American Thoracic Society, nearly 15-3% of asthma cases in adults are due to work. Highest percentage of cases occurred among operators, fabricators and laborers followed by managerial and professional specialists and in technical, sales and administrative support jobs. Most cases are associated with manufacturing and services industries.Many organizations are raising funds by selling wristbands, t-shirts or coffee mugs. By selling these things it can raise money to help victims suffering from this disease. Grey color wristbands are used for this disease. It has the words Hope, faith, courage and Strength.
